Experience the sweeter side of London, on a unique tour that allows you to indulge in chocolate from some of the finest boutiques that have been serving visitors and locals for generations.
The Mayfair Chocolate Tour is a journey where you will experience classic English fondants (favourite of the Queen), treats from various European countries, and potentially see some chocolate-making machines up close.
Sample a creation from Europe’s most-awarded chocolatier – with delights incorporating cheese, beer, spices or the more conventional spin on a classic English dessert like the irresistible Banoffee Pie.
Before you start exploring and learning about the streets and arcades of the city, you’ll enjoy a rich hot chocolate. As you sit and savour your guide will share with you their knowledge of the production, stories and history of chocolate.
The tour is as much about local history as it is about chocolate. Your guide has a deep and intimate knowledge of the local areas, the buildings and businesses, the artisans and creators who have lived and worked here and will share some of its fascinating stories. In a small private group with an expert friendly guide ( who is of course a chocolate lover, like you !) it will feel like a conversation with a knowledgeable new friend.
As well as the Queen’s favourites, you’ll sample treats from the spiritual home of author Roald Dahl on this adventure. Most importantly, get ready to feel completely chocolate-ed out by the end of the tour!
Discover boutiques that have been serving sweet treats in the city for hundreds of years
Taste incredible truffles, chocolates and hot chocolate from the very best, responsible sources
Enjoy the total attention of your private local guide on a relaxed stroll through the city
Jen took to heart the idea that "if you do something you love you'll never work a day in your life". She wrote a list of things she loved - chocolate, meeting people, talking, eating and London.. and the tours were born.
Jen spends the majority of her time guiding tours and tastings, judging chocolate and other food awards, speaking at events, tasting and consulting for various chocolate companies and travelling to attend conferences or to visit plantations, boutiques and factories in the UK and beyond.
The tour takes place in Mayfair and Soho, West London. The best tube stop to arrive at is Oxford Street, which is served by both the Victoria and Central lines, so it’s really easy to get to.
The best time for your tour to start is 10am or 3:30pm, but this can be flexible. Please specify the time you would prefer when you make the booking.
The exact meeting point will be specified on your booking voucher.
