Private Evening Chocolate Tour

What You'll Do

Get out and explore London a little differently on an evening tour that deep dives into everything chocolate, from the raw bean to chocolate cocktails, as you explore the vibrant Soho and Covent Garden neighbourhoods.

Your Private Evening Chocolate Tour starts in Covent Garden, at a location where chocolate is made from the cocoa bean on-site. You’ll then travel through Soho to Piccadilly, wandering past an array of architecture and street culture that your guide will bring to life for you. The tour finishes in the bar, where you are welcome to remain and enjoy more bespoke cocktails created for you!

Rather than just the chocolates you would find in a typical chocolate box (truffles, pralines, caramels, fondants), you’ll sample the best of chocolate in all its forms: from a freshly roasted cocoa bean to chocolate bars, hot chocolate, gelato, a you-won’t-believe-it’s-dairy-free sorbet, truffles, brownies and a bespoke chocolate cocktail in a secluded London bar.

You will learn how chocolate goes from a fruit to a delicious truffle, and sample most of the stages along the way.

Your Local Host:

Jennifer

Jen took to heart the idea that "if you do something you love you'll never work a day in your life". She wrote a list of things she loved - chocolate, meeting people, talking, eating and London.. and the tours were born.

Jen spends the majority of her time guiding tours and tastings, judging chocolate and other food awards, speaking at events, tasting and consulting for various chocolate companies and travelling to attend conferences or to visit plantations, boutiques and factories in the UK and beyond.

Location Information

The tour begins on Shaftesbury Avenue, close to Tottenham Court Road tube station, which is served by the Northern and Central lines.

You’ll then explore the Covent Garden, Soho and Picadilly area, before finishing up in a secluded cocktail bar, where your guide will be happy to give you more advice on where to go and what to do next.
