What You'll Do

Take the alternative tour through London's past and get off the beaten track with a local guide, who will bring the twisting alleys and narrow backstreets of the city to life with tales of unusual pieces of history.

Meet your guide outside Cannon Street tube station, Central London, and set off to explore areas of the city Londoners themselves rarely visit to get a totally unique, in-depth look at this city.

Discover hidden gems, like a stone from the original London Bridge and a remnant on Roman London tucked away in a barber shop, and find old, atmospheric pubs and the very first coffee shop in the city.

You’ll be bowled over by the magic of Leadenhall Market and the alleys of Cornhill, made all the more fascinating by the stories that come with them and stumbling across weird sites like an abandoned, bombed-out church will leave you hungry to explore further.

And all along the way, you’ll be wandering in the midst of a modern architects heaven, with iconic new builds clustered together, piercing the London skyline. The very best spot – where you can see the Gherkin, Cheesegrater, Walkie Talkie and Lloyd’s building all looming over a 16th-century church – is one of the best views in the city.

This is a tour for those who have seen the main sites and are keen to explore a little further and dig a little deeper, and it’s hugely rewarding for those who do.

Tour guide, entrepreneur, London enthusiast with a love of telling stories and digging up forgotten history!

All of the tours which I lead are unique, and researched with an eye on the unusual, quirky and forgotten history of London.

I love researching and discovering hidden or unknown parts of the city, and when this is combined with real excitement about meeting people and telling them about the rich history all around them, I believe this helps make my tours so special.

I am told I have a kind and warm personality which puts people at ease, creating a lovely atmosphere where clients genuinely feel part of the experience.
