The Old Granary is a stunning converted farm building full of character. On two floors, it has a spacious and bright interior ,with beams and exposed stone walls. Two bedrooms one double and one twin are on the first floor and downstairs there is a family bathroom and bright open plan kitchen / diner and lounge area with sofas flat screen television DVD player and free WiFi .
There is a log burner, a treat for cosy evenings in, and outside a private enclosed patio area, which is perfect for enjoying a drink as the sun sets.
You will have access, just across the courtyard, to the heated indoor pool which is open from 9.00am until 8.00pm every day. The pool house also has a sauna and small gym in it. The pool-house is on a rota system at the moment with each of the 5 cottages having exclusive use of the pool, sauna and fitness room for two 1-hour slots each day.
Outside there is a pond area which is great fun to visit the ducks and rabbits and you can even help to feed the chickens.
There are amazing cycle routes around the small towns surrounding the farm for the whole family to enjoy, lovely countryside walks straight from your front door, and a selection of local restaurants less than 10 minutes away.

Hi I’m your host, Jonathan. My family and I have lived at this lovely 17th Century farm in the Devon countryside for more than 10 years. We love living in the West Country and enjoy meeting our guests and sharing our knowledge of the area.
The Farm where the long barn is situated is in a great location, easily accessible by road via the M5 or by rail the train from Paddington takes just 2 hours.
It is very close to the popular towns of Bampton and Tiverton both of which have a great selection of cafes, pubs, restaurants and local shops.
Also within easy reach are the beaches of both the North and South coasts (about 40 minutes drive to either coast), and Exmoor and Dartmoor.
