What You'll Do

Get back to nature on your holiday in Cornwall, and experience the simple joy of gathering armfuls of fresh produce straight from the land, to be taken to a beautiful field kitchen, to curate, create and devour a bespoke seasonal feast together.

Arrive at Harewood Farm, a beautiful unspoiled landscape within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and begin with a tour of the growing areas where your hosts share their passion for connecting to food through understanding seasonal eating.

You will be immersed in nature, learning about regenerative gardening principles. Take a look at what is growing currently, and spend our time plucking, picking, and pulling fruits and vegetables directly from the plot.

The simplicity of these activities are wonderful for your wellbeing. Ground yourself firmly on the earth, breathe the clear, fresh air and understand your connection to nature better.

Move across the land with your haul to the field kitchen barn, complete with spectacular views across the River Tamar to the Devon banks beyond. Here you will create a feast together in a cookery workshop, with your just-harvested produce and other local fares.

Enjoy a plant-based, seasonal and local dining experience in superb natural surroundings. Your hosts will share with you some of their gut-healthy ideas for preserving the harvests at Harewood Farm, and you will get to take away a delicious preserve to transport you back to this experience whenever you try it.

Your Local Host:

Jo Tytherleigh

I am a grower, holistic chef, and a yoga teacher. I am lucky to live on Harewood Farm in a magnificent hidden location.

I love to help people feel connected to real food, which in turn brings us into a deeper relationship with ourselves, the land and with nature.

I have been growing food using organic, permaculture & regenerative methods for 30 years. I have worked as a chef in holistic retreats around the world and I have made it my mission to engage with the local economy sourcing the best local and seasonal produce.

I run regular workshops in our fully equipped, beautifully appointed, field kitchen barn. Teaching age old skills such as sourdough baking and fermenting vegetables.
