What You'll Do

Escape the city and throw yourself into active outdoor life for a weekend that truly gets you away from it all. Immerse yourself in the ruggedly beautiful landscape on classic Cornish activities like coasteering, surfing and sea kayaking, then relax in the fresh sea air and light a campfire under the stars at your glamping accommodation.

Our multi-activity weekends are for like-minded active people who embrace the weekends and want to get stuck into some great activities. We can guarantee you’ll go home with a warm, satisfied glow having made the most of your long weekend, full of morning swims, days outdoors, evenings by the firepit with homecooked food and a great group around you.

Our guides are our champions and the heart of our tours; we’re not competitive but we like to fill our days with adventure, action and good social times – and our easygoing guides love bringing new groups together to have fun, meaningful experiences. They know every route; café stop and beach; the best off-road cycle routes in Cornwall, the most tranquil and hidden away coves and, of course, the best pubs known to mankind!

We’ll get you out of London on a Thursday and before you know it you’ll be cycling through the countryside, swimming in the sea and relaxing by a campfire. We provide all the equipment you will need; just bring yourself, some activewear and some swim kit, and you’ll be ready to go.

Don’t feel obliged to do all of these activities, if you fancy an afternoon off to stroll along the beach or read your book by the sea – that fits in well with our itinerary too.

Or if you would like to cycle more miles each day your guide would be happy to show you some faster ‘racing snake’ routes. Our guides can also add more mileage and steeper inclines for those wishing to stretch their legs on this adventure weekend away!

Experience Itinerary

Arrive in Cornwall

Wave goodbye to work on a Thursday as you catch the 1pm train from London Paddington down into Cornwall. You’ll meet your guides and group at Bodmin Parkway station and get to know them on a relaxed cycle right direct from the station!

We’ll take care of all your luggage, and get you set up on our bikes so that we can cycle into the countryside straight away. With 15, 25, 35 -mile options there is a distance to suit everyone. The full ride takes us directly to our accommodation in Mevagissey, the gorgeous seaside town, famous for its sea-food cuisine.

We eat out in the best pub in town, getting to know our group over some delicious fresh sea-food tapas. On this trip we stay in glorious ‘glamping’ cabins on the coast. These fully kitted out log cabins are a wonderful mix of outdoor living and indoor comforts.

Sea Kayaking and Incredible Hiking

Start your Friday with a splash in the sea as we take our sea kayaks out to discover the South Coast’s cliffs and bays. Paddle to your heart’s content all morning before heading back to land for lunch.

We hike along the South West Coast Path, part of a gorgeous 630 mile national trail, next to the sea, towards the beautiful harbour at Goran Haven. We have the afternoon on the beach with plenty of opportunities to relax and an early evening swim and a pint in the local.

Dinner is with our hosts and is a BBQ/Paella with the evening spent sharing stories around the firepits, for a proper ‘Firepit Friday’. Grab yourself a free beer, put your feet up and relax with your group as the sun fades and the stars come out.

Coasteering and Perfect Pubs

We transfer to the North Cornish coast for some coasteering in the morning. Under the guidance of our instructors, we traverse the coast, climb the cliffs, jump into the sea, and swim into coves for an energy-packed morning.

We break for lunch on the beach and there is the option to surf in the afternoon with an instructor or to break out into the waves your own if you are more advanced.

In the late afternoon, we take the short trip into Padstow to discover the world of Rick Stein and with some free time to wander around the town. We eat dinner at the award-winning Quarryman Inn, a traditional family-run free house with the best beers and food along the whole estuary!

For our last night we stay in gorgeous glamping bell tents, in a quiet Cornish paddock and with panoramic views over the coast.
