What You'll Do

Head out for a unique experience in Cornwall, staying in a beautiful sky-view yurt amongst the rolling hills of Cornwall, and immerse yourself in the great outdoors just minutes from the stunning coast.

Head to stunning Cornwall, and stay in a unique, brand new yurt with private and exclusive facilities, and enjoy the sensation of living properly outdoors.

Based just outside Looe, you’ll be able to socially distance to your heart’s content, surrounded by nothing but rolling hills, vibrant green fields and blindingly blue skies.

With beautiful beaches just a couple of minutes drive away, including those rare, secret beaches and misty coves that feel as if they’re yours for the day, this is a chance to enjoy that beautiful sensation of total isolation and seclusion, with nothing but wide-open spaces all around you.

There are the delights of Polperro, a small, traditional fishing village that feels as if you’ve stepped back in time as you arrive, and Fowey, a stunning little town on a beautiful estuary, not far away, you also have a chance to sample some authentic Cornish culture.

You can hire paddle boards and sea kayaks from nearby and really get in touch with the landscape by taking to the sea, or even head out on fishing boats for mackerel and shark fishing adventures.

And by the end of another satisfying day exploring the wild, beautiful rural landscape, you’ll be able to retreat to your private yurt and gaze at the stars as you sleep with nothing separating you from the outside world but the canvas.

The yurts are separate from the amenity building. The amenity building houses 3 bathrooms of which each yurt is allocated its own one with a lock and key. Next to the bathrooms is a shared kitchen. This has a hob and a combination oven along with a fridge, microwave, toaster and two separate sink areas. The block is very close to the yurts

Each Yurt will have solar-powered lights and a USB to charge a phone. They also have a BBQ and a chimenea on the decking area. So, guests can either cook on their own BBQ or in the shared kitchen. Other facilities include wooden floors, duvet, pillows and bed linen, double bed and two/three single cotton futons, wood burning stove, kettle/tea & coffee and crockery.

There is also a small woodland area that has a fire pit surrounded by logs to sit on.

Please note: if you wish to bring dogs you may but there is a charge at check out, it is your responsibility to ensure you have paid the correct amount for the correct number of dogs.

Your Local Host:

Andrew and Teresa

Having spent our entire careers in the travel and tourism industry, we thought it would be a great idea to end our travels and try to put all our knowledge and experience into setting up something special here in Looe, Cornwall.

Along with our two dogs Rocky and Beany, our chickens, who lay some of the tastiest eggs, Ronnie and Reggie our cheeky but loveable goats and sheep, who just love to be hand-fed (especially by guests - who always seem to give a little extra), it's certainly a change from our old 'office' jobs.

With views across the rolling fields and valley to Looe and the short walk to the South West coastal path that leads to the year-round dog-friendly beach at Seaton, with its pubs and cafes or the people only beach at Millendreath and its beach cafe only a short walk away, the place certainly has a great feel to it.

We would love to host you here and share our passion for this wonderful area and all it has to offer.

Simply relaxing. A perfect getaway! Andrew & Theresa are fantastic hosts and have thought about everything; the breakfast hamper is a lovely touch! With the most fantastic views during the day, it's so peaceful and tranquil. The night sky is breathtaking and even better that you can still see the stars whilst lying in bed at night.

We booked having never been fans of camping. However it was actually my kind of camping. The Yurts were in excellent condition with a real feel of luxury, everything we needed was provided even fresh produce. We had the most amazing time and would highly recommend. The owners were extremely helpful planning our days as we were new to the area. We were also able to feed the onsite animals. I didn’t want to leave this idyllic location as the whole experience was extremely relaxing.
