What You'll Do

Walk through a thousand years of history with your guide, a student of the University, who has an amazing knowledge of the city, it's colleges, history and of course the lesser known stories and legends.

In your own private tour, drink in the stunning city of Cambridge, it’s dreamy waterways and elegant spires, centuries-old buildings and fascinating history, on a private tour that really gets under the skin of this special corner of England. From an Anglo-Saxon church tower to a contemporary (and controversial) clock that doesn’t even tell the time properly. You’ll see the rooms where Sir Isaac Newton wrote his theory of gravity and hear the truth behind the apple tree myth.

Visit the pub where Watson and Crick announced one of the greatest discoveries of the twentieth century. Marvel at some of the best examples of gothic and neoclassical architecture in the world and learn about the amazing people who have lived and worked in the university and the city. Inspiring, baffling, and downright outrageous: Cambridge is a city full of stories waiting to be told. This tour is thoroughly interesting, enjoyable and entertaining!

Fantastic opportunity to ask lots of questions of a recent Cambridge graduate. Jack was knowledgeable and approachable. He even coaxed a question or two out of our reluctant teenagers. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic tour with a small group of 4 hosted by Gong who was simply brilliant - highly informative, fun, charming and always willing to answer all questions, no matter how trivial. We could have spent much longer learning from him and his life...

Had a fantastic tour with a small group of 4 hosted by Gong who was simply brilliant - highly informative, fun, charming and always willing to answer all questions, no matter how trivial. We could have spent much longer learning from him and his life as an MBA student in Cambridge. Can highly recommend Gong as a guide, and the tour itself to everyone.
