Your Spanish course will be taught by highly qualified native Spanish speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques. Classes are small to ensure personal attention to accelerate your learning. With an emphasis on fun lessons and Spanish conversation, you’ll see your confidence improve each day.

Optional language labs are offered daily with your teachers, which are designed to reinforce the work you’ve covered in class through games, conversation or homework assistance.

Your yoga classes will take place in a mixture of naturally beautiful outdoor settings around the area, so that you can truly unwind and be at one with nature during your classes while absorbing the stunning scenery of Costa Rica.

Your experienced yoga instructors are trained in various types of yoga, including Iyengar based Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara or Bikram.

Accommodation is included in the popular student residence. The student residence is a great place to hang out with other students at the school and is just minutes from Jaco beach and the waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Arrival

Arrive at the student residence, relax, and meet your fellow students!

Accommodation
– During your course you’ll stay in the popular student residence in the school grounds
– Prices are based on arrivals on the Sunday before your course starts and end on the Saturday morning after your course has finished
– It’s located just a few minutes walk from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Jacó
– Decorated in tropical hardwoods and bamboo, stained glass and mosaic floors, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Costa Rican way of life
– If you are travelling solo, you can either can share a room with 1 other guest (of the same sex) and between you will have a private bathroom or if you are a solo traveller, you can book a private room for an extra supplement and note that these rooms sell out fast during peak season (December-March and May-August)
– Rooms are safe and clean and have air conditioning, ceiling fans, hot water, fridges and all students share a basic kitchen and communal areas

Room options in the residence
Standard shared rooms
A great option for travellers on a budget. All shared rooms are double occupancy with twin single beds. Solo travellers will be paired with a roommate of the same sex.

Private rooms
Book yourself your own bedroom, just for you, by making a standard shared room private.

Deluxe private room
For an additional supplement, this option is great for couples or solo travellers looking to treat themselves! These rooms have a comfortable king size bed and all the features of a standard room plus a complimentary bath towel service.

A Typical Day

Your classes will take place on Monday – Friday, and the exact times will be confirmed during your stay

Spanish language
– You will have 2 group lessons per day from Monday to Friday
– You join the teacher again later in the day for an optional one hour lesson in the language lab designed to help you learn more Spanish through games, readings, conversation practice, culture and history lessons

Yoga lessons
– Yoga classes take place at 7am every day apart from Wednesday when they are held at 6.30pm or 8pm
– Your yoga classes last 1.5 hours each
– Yoga classes will be taken on the beach, in the gardens or in the yoga studio

Your school and lovely accommodation is located just a few minutes walk from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Jacó, on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast. Decorated in tropical hardwoods and bamboo, stained glass and mosaic floors, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Costa Rican way of life.

Nearest airport:
San Jose (SJO)

If your plane arrives after 4pm, we strongly suggest taking a taxi to Jaco. Alternatively, arrive into San Jose on the Saturday before the course, stay overnight and travel on to Jaco the next day. However, you won’t necessarily save money this way so please consider all the transport options available to you. Please see your booking voucher for more information.

- You can choose to take a field trip kayaking and snorkelling along the coast and a waterfall hike to the 'Three Pools'

- Other optional excursions through the school include visits to the Rainforest or a Crocodile River tour
- You will have plenty of time to kick back on the surf beaches and relax or practice your new found skills
