Getting there

Nearest Airport:
San Jose (4 ½ hours away)

Overnight Stay:
Our guests tend to arrive in San Jose after a long haul flight and we therefore highly recommend an overnight stay in local accommodation in order to rest, ready to move on to the yoga retreat the following day.

The yoga retreat recommend staying in the Radisson Hotel or at The Costa Verde Inn which are in a lovely neighbourhood and just 25 minutes from the airport (please note the cost of this night is not included in the holiday price and is an extra cost to be booked independently).

Transport to the Nicoya Peninsula:

For travel to the Nicoya Peninsula, there are two options - air or overland. Costa Rica Green Airways has direct flights from San Jose to Tambor Airport, 27Km from the resort, for about $85 - $110 each way. The flights, in 12-person planes, take just twenty minutes so they're definitely the fastest way to go as well as being a great way to see the country by air, with a landing just off the beach. Other airlines include Sansa and Aerobell.

Alternatively, you can choose to travel overland. Tropical Tours provide a daily air-conditioned shuttle bus service which includes ferry fee between Montezuma & Cabuya and San Jose from about $50 per person. They can also collect you as part of their service at your hotel in San Jose or at San Jose airport and transport you direct to Cabuya.
