The best cookery break we’ve ever done – Esther’s stellar review

Esther of Sussex and her friend Lisa like to go on holidays with a difference once a year; so recently they decided to try our cookery break in Lake Garda. Their opinion? It’s the best course they’re ever done.

“Without how would we have found it? It makes things so much easier; we can access courses 6 years we’d never have known about.”

Why cooking?
Lisa has two little kids so she’s likes to get away for a girly weekend; we’ve been very pleased with and loved this holiday! We like the cooking, and it’s not too taxing either you don’t have to be a cook to actually go they will explain everything for you which is fantastic.

How were the lessons?359

It was me, Lisa and chef Andrea and Lara, it was one to one and they treated us like royalty. Andrea organised all the ingredients and he explained everything and we did some mixing and rolling out, we ended up doing a 5 course meal which was a superb quality.

The whole restaurant was so exclusive it was way beyond our expectations. We’ve done a one night cooking course in Rome as well which was an experience, completely different. Overall it was great – but it wasn’t a patch on this, this was the best we’ve ever done.

They’ve got the restaurant, a terrace that overlooks the lake, they were so helpful and friendly I can’t praise them enough.

They were so lovely, they treated us like family, they couldn’t do enough for us, and they arranged all our transport.

The highlights?

The fantastic location, professional tuition and quality of course were way beyond our expectations. Lara and Andrea were very friendly and made us feel special and the idyllic location was incomparable.

The Hotel Marina was excellent all round, we were made very welcome.

Highly recommended. We did enjoy it enormously.
