Cape Peninsula Cycle Adventure

Summary

Cycling the coastal roads on both sides of the peninsula is a breathtaking way to see the Cape.

Cycling the coastal roads on both sides of the peninsula is a breathtaking way to see the Cape, including Chapmans Peak Drive, Cape Point Nature Reserve and the penguin colony at Boulders beach, Misty cliffs and Witsands to name but a few highlights. There’s the opportunity of stopping when and where we want on all my tours, unlike in a vehicle, to look at the sights and the wildlife up close and personal. We can park our bikes marvel at the sea crashing against the waves below, or watch the whales and the seals in the water, as many times as we want. You will experience the majesty changing scenery and spectacular vista’s en-route whilst enjoying the abundant wildlife on the way. There are many opportunities for the most advantageous photo stops along the way as we ride together. The route allows us to explore at our leisure and own pace the route of the World’s biggest timed cycling event (known locally as the Argus, now the Cape Town Cycle Tour) enabling me to point out areas of interest, not just here but on the whole route in general, which you would otherwise miss. We talk about the history, the differing cultures and their religions and impact, pointing out one of the holy kramats (Muslim shrines), as well as much more the Cape has to offer without missing anything or racing through the experience.  Come and see it for yourself and have a brilliant day out you will not be sorry.
