Experience first-hand the legendary warmth and hospitality of the Cambodian people on a unique experience at Mr Nana's house, for a sunset barbeque in stunning settings at his home.

You’ll be picked up from your accommodation at 4:45 pm and driven by tuk-tuk (the only way to travel in Cambodia) to Mr Nana’s local Khmer home.

On this 15 minute drive, you’ll pass through glimmering rice fields, as the native birds glide lazily by on the warm breeze. On arrival, head to the best viewpoint to see the sun setting over the stunning countryside, then enjoy a barbequed feast and a few beers, as you enjoy the stories and infectious good humour of your hosts.

Feel totally at ease and relaxed as you immerse yourself into a bit of local culture, and if there’s a slightly bigger group of four and up, then our local Khmer legend, Nana, will take the barbeque to a small lake near his home, where you can watch the sun go down as you eat, listen to local music, and enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere.

Exchange stories as the evening goes on, learn about Khmer culture and get the local insight on an experience that certainly isn’t in the guidebooks.

We will return to Siem Reap at around 8/9 pm, depending on how everyone is feeling.
